This self-guided ride will take you down the Atlantic Coast of France from Arcachon to Biarritz. It's a very easy bike ride except for a short stretch after Biscarrosse, where you bike softly up and down the dunes. Start from the beautiful old seaside town of Arcachon and head south towards the highest dune in Europe, the Pilat dune before following the southern part of the Atlantic cycle route named Velodyssey. Along the way, ride through quiet pine forests and nice villages, typically just a few steps away from a lake or the beaches.
